As mentioned earlier on this blog, the classic Wizard of Oz film is celebrating its 70th Anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the film will be shown on Wednesday, September 23rd at 7pm in hi-def with out-takes, historical interviews, and behind the scenes footage here in Washington at the Mazza Gallerie movie theatre in Friendship Heights. This is a special one-night only event coinciding with showings throughout the U.S. on the same date and time.
There's even a fun quiz for you and your tween to take to see which Oz character you are most like.
