A Chemistry Rock Music Video - Awesome for Tweens

One of our favorite bands of all time is They Might Be Giants - we rocked out to them in college and love that we can share their cool kid-tunes with our own brood today (BTW, how, how, how did we miss them when they came to the Kennedy Center last fall?!?!) . Most of their kid rock albums have been geared to younger ears, but their latest (Grammy nominated - congrats to the Johns!) album is one tweens will get a kick out of: "Here Comes Science."

Check out their music video (with super cool graphics), "Meet the Elements", here:

Perfect if your tween, like our daughters, loves science.

that music video is really cool! I love the band there might be giants ,not only for their music(which is great!), but for their originality. This song is a perfect example of what they do, making really cool music that helps teach kids educational "matters":). I think that what they do is really important in a kids life because sometimes school can be very boring for a kid, but if they learn it through a way that they like, it will stick in their heads instead of going in one ear and out the other. Awesome job guys!!

Thank you for your comment! Our whole family agrees with you: TMBG is an awesome band! All of the kids in the family like their music, and the parents are grateful to have a smart, catchy tune to listen to in the car along with them. I like your the way you put it: "if they learn it through a way that they like, it will stick in their heads" - I think you've nailed it!
