Miley to Star in Footloose movie remake?

Hollywood rumors have it that Miley Cyrus is being considered for the lead female role in Footloose. Well, she's certainly got the singing and dancing bit down, so Miley Cyrus would be an easy choice to star opposite Chace Crawford (he of Gossip Girl fame) in the movie re-make. 'Tween parents will remember the original movie starrting Kevin Bacon in his breakout role. Are you feeling old yet??

Hannah Montana Movie Premiere Party at Twixt!

4/10/09 * 5-7pm * Hannah Montana Movie Premiere Party!! You and your tween are invited to join us for an afternoon of primping, styling, and fun as we get ready to view the new Hannah Montana movie on Friday, April 10th. Professional aestheticians from Eclips Kids Salon will be on hand to do manicures and pin up fun hairstyles for the girls. We will have food, drinks and treats on hand, and each girl will receive a deluxe goody bag and photo of their movie-going styles. Reservations are needed for this event, and the cost is $40. Bollywood dance and fitness for tweens

After Slum Dog Millionaire cleaned up at the Oscars last week, Bollywood is on everyone's mind. There is a new DVD out for tweens featuring Bollywood dance moves by performer Sabrina Bryan, a Cheetah Girl. This video is all about celebrating girls and positive body image. The DVD is called BYOU2 (as in "Be You") and is actually the second in a series. Dance moves and fitness are the focus on the video with lots of motivation, positive self-esteem and healthy body image discussions sprinkled throughout. Pretty cool.
